Come join us to learn more about the free housing related services and resources available to homeowners and residents of the Lower and Outer Cape towns: (Brewster, Harwich, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown).

The Lower Cape Housing and ADU Resource Center was created to provide support and assistance to homeowners wishing to build ADUs (accessory dwelling units), or become year-round landlords; we also offer resources and case management to tenants who may need to help looking for or maintaining housing.

What a great set of events: an ADU house tour of one of our loan recipients and a modular build and a panel afterwards helping homeowners troubleshoot their ADU projects.

It was an honor to sit on the panel with Carlo Caramanna, VP of Residential Lending at Seamen's Bank, Sharon Rule-Agger, of the Wellfleet Affordable Housing Trust, and Chair of the Wellfleet Local Housing Partership, and Chris Lee, Head of Design & Development for Backyard ADUs. And, the event would not have been as dynamic or engaging without our amazing moderator (comedian extraordinaire) Thaddeus Soulé, Town Planner of Provincetown.

Come on down to Cape Cod Museum of Natural History to the Brewster Eco-Expo, and learn about the Lower Cape Housing and ADu Resource Center. We will be talking about ADUs, the green housing field, and emerging wastewater technology options and regional pilots. Expo ends at 2pm.

You can also learn from exhibitors such as Green Road Refill, Brewster Ladies' Library seed catalog, the Lower Cape TV, and Brewster Ponds Coalition among others.

Join us tonight at The 204 Cultural Arts and Municipal Building in Harwich (204 Sisson Rd.) for an informational session on ADUs, in conjunction with the Town of Harwich’s Housing Resource and Options Fair.

The ABC’s of ADUs starts at 6pm-come early at 5:30 to tour the various organizations that will have tables and information as part of the fair.

We had a good turn out last night in Wellfleet of 25 homeowners in the Outer Cape. And the ADU Resource center will host more info session in 2024, if you cannot come out this evening.
