Friends of the Jones Memorial Library Working to support the Jones Memorial Library in Orleans, VT We hope you will consider joining us.

The Friends of the Jones Memorial Library organized in 2009 to raise funds in support of, and focus public attention on library resources and services. Monthly meetings, open to the general public, are generally held the second Wednesday of each month, 5:00pm at the Jones Memorial Library, but please contact us or call the library (754-6660) to confirm.

🎉 Celebrating 150 Years of the Orleans Village Fire Department! 🚒

The Jones Memorial Library is proud to honor the Orleans Village Fire Department as they celebrate their incredible 150th anniversary!

We are so grateful for our local heroes and all they have done for our community over the years. We’re excited to join them in celebrating this milestone at the 150th Anniversary Parade on August 29th!

The Friends of the Jones Memorial Library have been working hard on our parade float, and our library kids are getting very excited to be part of the celebration! 📚❤️

We can’t wait to see everyone there as we celebrate 150 years of service, dedication, and community spirit.

📚 Summer Reading Challenge Celebration! ☀️
It’s hard to believe that we’re already at the end of our Summer Reading Challenge!
On Saturday, August 15th, from 11:00 a.m. to noon, we’ll be at the library handing out awards to all the amazing readers who completed their reading goals. 🏆📖
If you’re unable to join us that day, no worries! You can pick up your award on your next visit to the library.
We are so proud of all the readers who joined in the fun this summer! More than 40 kids signed up and became regular visitors throughout the summer. What a wonderful accomplishment!
Thank you for making our Summer Reading Challenge such a success. Keep reading, keep exploring, and keep the love of books going! ❤️📚
