🎃✨ Our Trunk or Treat was a huge success! ✨🎃

Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, decorated, and helped make this event so special. We truly could not have done it without you!

As I reflect on my two years at Cadence Academy Preschool, Oro Valley, I can honestly say that hosting this event together as a school community has been one of the most meaningful experiences for me. Seeing the children laugh, dance, play games, and create lasting memories was the highlight of the evening.

Even more special was seeing our families, staff, and community come together. Building strong foundations for our children starts with moments like these, and I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.

🎉 Grandparents’ Day was a success! 🎉

We are so thankful to everyone who came out to celebrate and enjoy a special breakfast with their kiddos. 💕 Your presence made the morning extra special!

We know that not all of our grandparents live nearby, but near or far, we want to recognize and celebrate everything you do for your kiddos. Your love, support, and encouragement mean so much, and we are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

🚲💛 Join Us for Our St. Jude Trike-A-Thon! 💛🚲

We are so excited to participate in the St. Jude Trike-A-Thon, supporting an incredible foundation that helps children and families facing childhood cancer and other serious diseases. 💛

We invite our families to help make a difference by donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and supporting this amazing cause. Every donation, big or small, helps contribute to the life-saving work St. Jude does for children everywhere. 🌟

Our little riders will be pedaling, smiling, and having lots of fun while helping support a wonderful cause! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Happy Labor Day! Today, we recognize the hard work and contributions of workers across our communities, including the incredible educators and team members who make a difference each day. ❤️

As a reminder, our school will be closed on Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day. We hope all of our families enjoy a safe and relaxing long weekend!

🌟 CLASSROOM SHOUT-OUT: ORCA CLASSROOM! 🌟☀️💨

We’re giving a HUGE shout-out to our amazing Orca classroom for all the fun and learning they had last week with Ms. Destiny! 🐋💙

The Orca friends continued their exciting study of weather while getting creative with hands-on activities using recycled materials! 🌦️♻️

☀️ Sunshine Art!
The children created their own beautiful suns using recycled paper plates, glue, and feathers! Through this activity, our little learners explored different textures and materials, expressed their creativity, and expanded their vocabulary as they discussed the different colors they might see in the sun. 🎨✨

💨 Windsock Creations!
During circle time, the class talked all about wind—what it does and how, even though we can't see the wind itself, we can see the things that move and blow in the wind! 🌬️

The children then created their very own windsocks using recycled toilet paper rolls, ribbons, and markers. They had so much fun decorating their creations while practicing their fine-motor skills, creativity, vocabulary, and discussion skills. They even talked about taking their wind socks home to hang outside and watch them BLOW! 💨🎨

What a wonderful way to turn a classroom topic into meaningful, hands-on learning! We love seeing our Orca friends explore, create, ask questions, and learn through play. 🐋💙
