MISSION STATEMENT: We, the men and women of the Orofino Police Department, are
dedicated to providing progressive and proactive services through partnerships that build trust,
reduce crime, create a safe environment, and enhance the quality of life in our com

munity. VISION STATEMENT: Through exemplary professionalism and dedication we will create an
atmosphere at the Orofino Police Department and in our community that will ensure everyone
who lives in, works in, or visits the city of Orofino will feel safe in all areas of the community and
will work together to solve community and neighborhood problems, and will have a high level of
respect, trust, and confidence in their police department. We are committed to these principles which will serve as the foundation of the Orofino Police
Department and guide us in all that we do. FAIRNESS: We protect constitutional rights through impartial enforcement of the law. We are
dedicated to treating citizens and our employees with dignity, respect, and equality. RESPECT: We will treat all people with compassion, tolerance, and dignity by providing
professional law enforcement services through highly trained personnel accountable to our
community. INTEGRITY: We have committed ourselves to elevated standards of trust, responsibility, and
discipline while promoting justice in a fair and impartial manner. We will earn the trust, respect,
and support of our citizens through active partnership, involvement, and service to our community. In all that we do, we have the courage and commitment to uphold these values. PROFESSIONALISM: We are proud of our profession and will ensure that our members are
dedicated, conscientious, and capable of handling the daily demands of the law enforcement
profession. Our commitment is unwavering in the face of the many challenges confronting our
