Every Monday we give an update on Achieving the Vision, the $8.62 million campaign for the Orono Public Library.

There are 45 days until the campaign ends on July 31. As of June 14th, the total contributed is $8,234,962.

We need $385,038 to cross the finish line. You, your family, friends, and neighbors can wrap up this campaign.

Teens & Tweens can start their summer vacation by joining us for a fun and random book group! We meet Fridays on the back patio, drink refreshing punch, and talk about whatever people are reading. No registration is required! We meet each Friday (except for 6/19 & 7/3) until school starts.

Looking for a fun craft to kick off the summer? Or maybe just a new notebook? Join us next Tuesday (June 9th) in the community room for a journal decoration workshop! Participants will get to decorate and take home a journal to write about all their summer adventures, jot down some nature inspired poetry, or doodle to their hearts delight. Starts at 4pm, supplies are limited!

Every Monday we give an update on Achieving the Vision, the $8.62 million campaign for the Orono Public Library.

There are 59 days until the end of the campaign, July 31. As of May 31st, the campaign total contributed is $$8,195,984 (just $4,016 away from the $8.2 mark!)

Since April 21st, donors have contributed $630,432 to the library campaign! Can we get lots of likes for so much generosity?

We need $424,016 to reach the goal, and we will get there, one dollar, one gift, at a time. Don’t let the campaign end without you!
