Butte County Building Division The Building Division administers State and County building codes and ordinances to ensure buildings are safe for occupancy.

This is accomplished through the permitting, plan review and inspection process.

⭐ Unaccepted items will not be accepted.
⭐ Participants must unload and dispose of their items without assistance from staff.

This free community cleanup is provided by the Butte County Development Services Code Enforcement Division to help residents properly dispose of accumulated unwanted items, support voluntary code compliance, and improve our unincorporated communities.

Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey invites residents of Butte, Tehama, and Shasta Counties who suffered damage, evacuation, or trauma from the 2024 Park Fire to submit victim impact statements to his office to be presented to the judge at Stout's October sentencing. Statements may be submitted via email to: [email protected].
