Hulk is more than just a police K9. He’s a trusted partner, a loyal friend, and an important part of our OPD family. His dedication, courage, and hard work help keep our officers and our community safe.

We’re grateful for everything Hulk does and for the bond he shares with his handler, Ofc. Smith. 👮‍♂️🐾

Back-to-School Safety Reminders 🚸📚

Tomorrow’s the big day, BACK TO SCHOOL! 🎒🍎

As students return to the classroom, we’re asking everyone to help make the start of the school year a safe one. A little extra attention can make a BIG difference!

🚗 Drivers
SLOW DOWN in school zones and obey posted speed limits and flashing lights.
STOP FOR SCHOOL BUSES. When red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended, you are required by law to stop.
Watch for crossing guards and students walking, biking, or waiting at bus stops.
PUT THE PHONE DOWN. Avoid distracted driving.

🚶‍♀️🚲 Parents & Students
Use crosswalks and look both ways before crossing.
Use sidewalks whenever possible. If there is no sidewalk, walk facing traffic.
Stay alert and avoid distractions near roadways.

🚔 Expect to see an increased Orrville Police presence in and around school zones as we help keep students, staff, and families safe.

With more traffic, buses, and pedestrians, please slow down, allow extra time, and be patient.

K9 Hulk took advantage of the beautiful Friday weather by stopping by the 700 block of S. Vine Street to visit his friend, Stella, who was busy selling lemonade to community members! 🐾🍋

Thank you, Stella, for the refreshing stop and for making K9 Hulk's day a little brighter! We hope your lemonade stand is a huge success.

Even more impressive, Stella is using her lemonade stand to give back, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to her church. We love seeing young community members making a positive difference while supporting causes that are important to them.

Community partnerships come in all sizes, and today’s visit was a great reminder of what makes Orrville such a special place. Be sure to stop by and support Stella if you're in the area! 💙

🚨 Help Us Identify This Individual 🚨

The Orrville Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the female pictured below.

On July 28, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., an unknown female entered a local bank and attempted to withdraw funds from another individual's bank account by presenting a fraudulent identification card.

If you recognize this individual or have any information that may assist in this investigation, please contact the Orrville Police Department at (330) 684-5025 or email Officer Al-Rubiay at [email protected].

Please remember: All persons are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

‼️ UPDATE ‼️

Preliminary investigation indicates the female may be in possession of multiple fraudulent identification cards and may be traveling through multiple counties in an attempt to defraud banks and bankers. The ID may depict the female in a military uniform.

Financial institutions are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to their local law enforcement agency immediately.
