Recent wildfires near Spokane placed more than 60,000 people under a LEVEL 3 - GO NOW evacuation order and forced people to leave their homes as fast moving fires threatened lives and property. Knowing what evacuation levels mean before an emergency can help you act quickly when every minute counts.

๐ŸŸข LEVEL 1 โ€“ BE READY
Be aware of the danger in your area. Review your evacuation plan, put your go bag by the door, monitor local information, and know where you will go if conditions worsen.
๐ŸŸก LEVEL 2 โ€“ BE SET
Be prepared to leave at a moment's notice. Make arrangements for children, pets, and anyone who may need additional assistance.
๐Ÿ”ด LEVEL 3 โ€“ GO NOW
This means LEAVE IMMEDIATELY! There is an immediate threat to life and safety. Emergency officials may not be able to assist everyone if conditions worsen.

The best time to prepare is before an evacuation order is issued. Take time today to make a plan, build a kit, and know your evacuation routes.
