Ortonville, thank you for allowing us to observe Memorial Day with you once again.

Thank you to our fallen heroes, to all military families for their sacrifices, to our veterans who have lost friends and brethren, to our heroes who continue their personal battle at home, and to our POW MIA soldiers.

At a time when Brandon CERT is working to build up our community awareness and recruit more membership, we want to be sure that we are the best that we can be.

We asked our friends at the Ortonville Lions Club to help us update our radios, which are a critical piece of our equipment that we use in all events, trainings, and deployments.

The Ortonville Lions Club proudly donated $750 for the Cert team of Brandon Township to purchase new equipment to continue to keep our events safe. So grateful for all they do for our community.

Happy Global Volunteer Month! We encourage all Michiganders to serve during in April.
