Please join us in welcoming Probationary Firefighter Neros to the Osage Beach Fire family.

He joins us after spending time in Northern Missouri and is looking forward to living the lake life here with us.

Today marks his final day of his orientation week. He then will be assigned to his shift and will start a 6 month probationary period where he will learn how we operate, the district and familiarize with his crew.

Probationary Firefighter Neros we look forward to watching your growth and wish you the best of luck in your probation.

It’s fire prevention week and we are very excited to have visitors in our firehouses!

Our firefighters take pride in teaching our youth about the dangers of fire and how to prevent it as well as asking the Fire Chief a question or 100.

Today. 25 years later we remember those we’ve lost on this day.

September 11, 2001 was a day that touched and changed every American. Today, we honor our brothers and sisters who fearlessly gave their own lives to help those who most likely didn’t even know their name.

Today, take a moment. And remember each day is never guaranteed. Today, hold your loved ones close and say a prayer for the families of our fellow first responders who were senselessly murdered that day. We honor all of the heroes of that day.

We remember. We will never forget.

⚠️Extreme Heat Warning today and Monday. The heat index is expected to climb to 110 and higher for almost all of Missouri this afternoon and again on Monday afternoon.
✅Avoid outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day.
✅Drink plenty of water, sports drinks, or natural fruit juices to stay hydrated. ✅Avoid alcohol and beverages that contain caffeine as these tend to be dehydrating.
✅If outdoor activity is unavoidable, take plenty of breaks in the shade, or in an air conditioned environment away from the heat.

Another step forward in the staffing of Station 3.

Residents should expect to see work beginning shortly.

Fire Station 3 is expected to open in 2027 staffing a full time company to provide a better response to our residents on the West side of the district (Linn Creek, Y Road and A Road areas).
