🚍 AREA SCHOOLS ARE BACK! 🚍

As area schools return to session, school buses and students will once again be on our roads each morning and afternoon.

Please help us keep our kids safe:

🛑 Stop for school buses when the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended.
⚠️ Slow down and stay alert in school zones and around bus stops.
đź‘€ Watch for children who may be walking to and from the bus.
đźš— Give school buses plenty of space and be patient as they make frequent stops.

A few extra seconds of patience and attention can make a huge difference.

Let’s work together to keep our students safe this school year!

08/18/2026

The risk for severe storms this afternoon and evening has been increasing through the morning. Storms are expected to develop along a west to east line early this afternoon, but the exact time and coverage is uncertain. The main threat would be 1-2” hail, but if conditions align correctly (10% chance), hail sizes could be larger. Cannot rule out damaging winds and localized flooding from these storms.
