🔥 Brush Fire 🔥
At approximately 7:49 PM on September 3, Frontier Shores Fire Department was dispatched to a rapidly spreading brush fire on New Prue Road about a mile away from the station heading towards lake shore heights .
We want to thank two local residents who were driving by, spotted the fire spreading, and quickly reported it. Because of their awareness and fast action, crews were able to respond and knock down the fire before it reached the nearby trees and became a much larger incident. Also thank you to one of our residents Gary G. who stopped and asked to help feed more hose to our crew it was greatly appreciated.
A special thank you to the Prue Fire Department for responding and assisting our crew. This incident is another powerful example of why mutual aid is so important. When neighboring departments work together, we can bring additional firefighters, equipment, and resources to the scene—helping protect lives, homes, and our community.

We had a local to our area speed through the scene and run over our hose lines after being flagged to stop with flash lights and emergency lights

Interfering with Firefighters: Knowingly impeding or obstructing firefighters or emergency equipment en route to or at a fire can be charged as a felony offense under Oklahoma Statutes §2-16-6.
Crossing Fire Hoses: Driving over an unprotected fire hose without official permission violates Oklahoma Statutes §47-11-1109, risking hose rupture and cutting off water to active lines.
