NOTICE:
This serves as a reminder that Golf Carts or UTV's are NOT allowed on park property. The only exceptions are for those with valid handicap parking permits, and these vehicles may only park at designated areas at each diamond. These permits do NOT allow you to utilize the paved trails to access the concession stand or restrooms. This is a safety issue, as there are many people sharing the same space.

Furthermore, the use of ATVs, UTV’s and Golf Carts shall NOT be operated in any parks, ball fields, playgrounds, The Maple Trail, Harry Cook Trail, Green Belt Trail or upon any other city-owned properties.

These rules have been implemented for the safety of our pedestrians and mostly for our children. With summer activities underway, these rules will be effective immediately!

It is the lawn mowing season and the grass is definitely growing!

A REMINDER to all Osage residents and property owners:
In accordance to Osage City Ordinance 50.02(10), It is your responsibility to not allow your grass/weeds/brush to grow above 9". If you are in violation, you will be served a notice by City Hall and after 5 days the City will take care of the nuisance and your property taxes will be assessed the cost.

Letters are being sent in the coming days for those properties that are in violation of this ordinance. Please mow tall grass; cut down the weeds & overgrown shrubs by the house & garage; pick up any garbage that may have accumulated; take any furniture that is by the curb to the FMC Landfill.

If your neighbor needs assistance, help them out - let's all work together.

All items must be removed from the Osage Cemetery by June 15. Any items remaining that are not part of the foundation or stone will be removed and disposed of.

It is scheduled for every 3 years, and the next one will be Spring 2028.

REMINDER!

Street Assessments for the 2025 Street Project are due on Friday, February 13, 2026 before 5 pm. Payments must be received by City Hall by this deadline - payments received after this date are considered delinquent and cannot be accepted by the City Clerk.

Payments that are postmarked before this date but not yet received by City Hall before the deadline are also considered delinquent.
