As the 2026-2027 school year is beginning we would like to remind all motorists to be alert and cautious for buses picking up and dropping off students and expect delays to your normal travel. Please obey the posted speed limits and traffic laws. We want everyone to be safe and able to go home to their families each and every day.

Unfortunately, yesterday we responded to a vehicle vs. bus accident in our first due coverage area. We are extremely grateful that no children were injured.

Please slow down, avoid distractions, and keep alert of your surroundings.

Please view the following link for additional bus safety.

Please be aware of the recent measles cases in Pennsylvania. Here are some sign and symptoms to be on the lookout for.

Measles typically begins with a high fever, cough, runny nose, and red, watery eyes 7 to 14 days after exposure to the virus.

Early Symptoms (Days 1–3)
High fever: Can spike to over 104°F (40°C).
Cold-like signs: Dry cough, runny nose, and sneezing.
Conjunctivitis: Red, sore, and watery eyes.
Koplik spots: Tiny white spots that can appear inside the mouth on the cheeks 2 to 3 days after symptoms start.

The Measles Rash (Days 3–5)
Appearance: Flat red spots mixed with small raised bumps. It is usually not itchy.
Spread: Starts at the hairline on the face, then moves down the neck, trunk, arms, legs, and feet.
Blotches: Spots often join together into large patches. Fever may spike again when the rash peaks.

Note: Always call your doctor or clinic before visiting so they can take steps to protect other patients from infection. Call 911 for life threatening emergency.

There have been two confirmed measle associated deaths in PA. The best prevention is vaccination.

We are looking for EMTs to join our team! We run approximately 500 calls per year, a slow/steady volume to learn and excel at your skills but yet enough time for rest, completing continuing education credits, training, and school work! We have flexible scheduling and a laid back atmosphere!

We have Stryker powerload/power stretchers, participate in the optional add ons of nebulizers, blood glucose monitoring, epinephrine injection, and 12 lead acquisition and transmission.

We look forward to hearing from you!
