A second tornado watch has been issued for parts of Iowa, Kansas and Missouri until 3 AM CDT.

A couple tornadoes are possible. Scattered damaging winds with isolated significant gusts to 80 mph are likely. Isolated large hail is also possible.

Southern part of the county has full creeks and waterways. Additional rain tonight may result in water over the road. This is harder to see at night. Be weather aware.

Water levels in our rivers, creeks, and waterways have risen over the last day, and we are concerned about possible flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas throughout Decatur County.

Please use extra caution near rivers, creeks, bridges, and low-water crossings. Conditions can change quickly.

⚠️ Remember: If you see water over the roadway — TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN.
Never attempt to drive through flooded roads. It only takes a small amount of moving water to sweep a vehicle away.
