Wow! More than 40 Summer Learning Program readers came to adopt a dinosaur reading buddy last Thursday! Everyone had a chance to pick out a dino, do some fun crafts and spend time with friends. If you missed it, we have another great program coming up this Thursday, June 18th, at 4:00Pm with Carpenter Nature Center and their Animals of the St. Croix River Valley. See you at the library!

We couldn't meet at the "Togetherness"Art Bench in Millpond park due to weather, but we still had a great turnout and a lot of fun inside the library at our Books And Benches Storytime this morning! Ms. Michelle read stories, sang songs and had a craft ready for the kids, while Somerset Elementary and W.H.O. Books were on hand to provide free books for everyone! Books & Benches is a project of the Somerset Elementary Family Book Drive in partnership with the Phipps Center for the Arts and local libraries to increase summer reading and promote community art in the St. Croix Valley. Special thanks to W.H.O. Books. org for donating new books to give away free.
