🍎☀️ Summer Meals Start Tomorrow! ☀️🍎

The Clarke Summer Food Program kicks off tomorrow, June 9!

📍 Location: High School Entrance (across from the tennis courts)
⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🧒 Ages: 1–18 years old

Meals are available at no cost for all children ages 1–18. Please remember that children must be present to receive a bag.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow and helping keep our kids fueled all summer long!

🚧✨ Just over one week into the renovation at Clarke Elementary School and the crew is moving right along!

Ceilings and floors are coming out, walls are coming down (and some are already going back up!), railings have been welded, and the coat rooms and bathrooms are ready for a transformation. Every day brings exciting progress, and it’s incredible to see the vision starting to take shape.

We can’t wait to see how amazing these updated spaces will be for our students, staff, and community when the project is complete!

Clarke Community School District — Notice of Destruction of Special Education Records

In accordance with state and federal regulations, the Clarke Community School District will be destroying special education records for former students who were born before July 1, 2000, and who exited the district’s special education program prior to July 1, 2021. These records may include information related to the identification, evaluation, educational placement, and provision of special education services as outlined under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Former students, or their legal guardians, who wish to obtain a copy of these records must submit a written request to the district by August 1, 2026. Records will be permanently destroyed after August 15, 2026.

🚧 Renovations are Underway at Clarke Elementary! 🚧

This summer, a large portion of Clarke Elementary will undergo an exciting renovation project! Updates will include new HVAC systems, fresh paint, updated flooring, new lighting, and cabinetry improvements.

The renovation will impact classrooms in the 1992 addition, as well as rooms that were not included in the 2023 renovation project.

A project of this size is no small task! During the final days of school last week, it was truly all hands on deck as staff worked together to pack, organize, and move every item out of the affected classrooms. While there was a lot of hard work involved, there was also plenty of laughter and teamwork along the way.

We can't wait to see these spaces transformed into beautiful, updated learning environments for our students and staff. Throughout the summer, we'll be sharing construction updates so you can follow the progress every step of the way.
