As an extra fundraiser incentive this year, we placed 12 golden tickets out in the community that are worth $10. We passed out 12 golden tickets, so far only 4 have been found! Our FFA members are working hard to sell MUMS and MEAT, and to find those golden tickets! If you haven't been hit up to buy products yet, get ahold of an FFA member today!

Thursday night, FFA members got together for the annual Back to School Social! Students worked on the float for the upcoming Labor Day Parade, ate some delicious food, and caught up with their friends to prepare for the year! This past Sunday, members of the Osceola FFA Chapter took time out from their summer activities to help serve at the Beef House at the Missouri State Fair with members of the St Clair County Cattlemens! These students cooked, prepped, and served many dishes to a consistantly packed house of customers! We are thankful for their continued focus on service to others!

Osceola has had a BUSY MO State Fair. Our officer team designed and built an educational display that is set up in the FFA building, we had members exhibit entries and receive gold/silver, we worked the Beef House, and Claire Salmon along with Area 7 officers volunteered for a day of work in the FFA building. We already posted about the Lamb Cook Off-- what a year of experiencing the fair to the fullest. 👍

Congratulations to the first ever GRAND CHAMPION Lamb BBQ Contest at the Missouri State Fair!! These girls stepped out of the norm and tried cooking an unfamiliar protein in a brand new contest! We are so proud of them and their accomplishments!! Kamie Hooper placed 1st in the Lamb Burger and 2nd in the Lamb Chops division. Cheyenne Russell placed 2nd in the leg of Lamb division. Great job to these ladies for taking on the heat and the competition at the Mo State Fair Lamb BBQ Contest!!
