A planned phone service outage will take place today, Saturday, August 15, from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m. This outage will affect all City government phone lines including City Hall, the Police Department, the Public Museum, the Senior Center, the Public Library, and Public Transit.

During this period, the public can call (920) 379-6830 for non-emergency calls to the Police Department. 9-1-1 communications will not be impacted.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this planned outage.

Stage 2 of the WIS 21 project will begin on August 15, 2026; this is the second of three stages to allow for the construction of the new multi-lane roundabout at WIS 21 & Leonard Point Road.

Access from Old Omro Road to Leonard Point Road will reopen, while access from WIS 21 to Leonard Point Road will close. The second stage will have temporary traffic signals placed to accommodate alternating directions of traffic flow along Leonard Point Road from Old Omro Road to north of Pierce Lane.

This stage of the project is expected to extend into October.

Results from polling locations will be posted first, followed by absentee ballot results. We'd like to recognize and congratulate three members of our City team; Brian Kikendall (left), Kami Zuercher (bottom right), and Travis Derks (top right) have been awarded the Outstanding Service award for the 2nd quarter. Additionally, Brian was named the Employee of the Quarter!

Travis was recognized for his efforts in volunteer coordination, consistently going above and beyond to ensure community groups have a positive and successful experience volunteering with the City. Kami was nominated for her willingness to take on a new initiative and support departments across the City during the transition to a new platform. Brian, our Employee of the Quarter, was selected for his work on two major projects and his commitment to supporting the team in a responsive, positive, and solution-focused manner.

We appreciate their hard work, dedication, and positive contributions to the City; congratulations, Brian, Kami, and Travis, and thank you for all that you do!
