Last week, Julie and her husband stopped by Park View to return a special piece of our history. Their Aunt Mae worked at Park View and retired in 2001. When she retired, she was gifted a beautiful framed keepsake made from a tree that once stood on the Park View grounds.

The tree fell during a windstorm on June 11, 2001, and part of it was transformed into this stunning Park View tree display. Rather than letting it be discarded, Julie and her husband wanted to bring it back home to Park View for others to enjoy and appreciate🌳🤎

🌞🍔 It’s that time of year again where we get to enjoy the patio, sunshine, and some delicious grilled food! Thank you to our amazing staff who always go above and beyond to make our Tuesday picnics happen. Your help creates special moments for our residents to enjoy all summer long.!!

Thank you to Girl Scout Troop 2417 and their leader, Kimberly, for their generosity and kindness! 🌸🌼

They recently brought beautiful plants and flowers for our residents and planted some on the neighborhood! Our residents truly enjoyed planting and spending time outdoors together.

We would also like to thank them for the lovely blankets they donated. The residents absolutely loved them and were so grateful for this thoughtful gift😊

We are grateful for all veterans, active service members, and military families who have given so much for our freedom. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day as we reflect, remember, and honor those who served🇺🇸
