Kauffman Boat Works Physical Address of Kauffman Boat Works (1952-1960) In 1964, the shop was located in an old railroad shipping building on E. Main Street, Venice, FL.

In May 1961, George Kauffman was forced to move his shop to Laurel Florida, first into an old barn then a metal fabricated structure. In 1965, it moved to its final location at 400 Base Avenue East, Venice, FL. Kauffman Boat Works ceased business in 1969, although its principal, George H. Kauffman, Jr. continued making wooden boats on Martha's Vineyard, MA, right up until he passed away in 1987.
