Representing the future of jazz, these award-winning young stars present their original arrangements and compositions with a modern sound. Led by Berklee School of Music-bound Nicolás Mayor, a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center and Arturo O'Farrill's Fat Cats academy programs, Mayor brings his background ranging from Colombian and Latin music (formerly featured with the Mambo Legends in Tito Puente's tribute) to hip hop and jazz.
The group features Princeton Sophomore and brainchild pianist Jasper Zimmerman (10-time award winner with Downbeat Magazine, former Carnegie Hall NYO, Jazz at Lincoln Center Academy, Tanglewood featured rising star, student of Rudresh Mahanthappa), and Columbia College-bound musical genius, NY state all-star jazz and classical bassist Henry Scheller.
With Theo Kornblum, Winner-best soloist at the 2026 Charles Mingus competition, NY All State saxophonist and member of Jazz at Lincoln Center's Academy big band and Paul Chambers Combo.
