The Baker-Collyer Christmas Cheer Fund Over 300 local needy families in the Ossining area were given holiday food baskets through last year Please consider being part of this 100-year tradition.

The Baker- Collyer Christmas Cheer Fund, a 501-c3 organization, which was started by an Ossining merchant who witnessed two children picking through a garbage pile for food 100 years ago, has started to solicit contributions for this year’s drive. Over 370 local needy families in the Ossining area were aided through last year’s generous community efforts. The funds go solely to purchase food for t

he holiday baskets. The administration efforts are handled by volunteers and the baskets are packed and delivered by members of the Ossining Volunteer Fire Department and other community members. Contributions can be sent to the Baker-Collyer Cheer Fund, c/o John Crawford, Chairman,
