Oswego East High School's Educators Rising chapter dedicated some of their time this year to a service project that was shared with some of the district elementary schools. They created Kindness Quilt kits. An SEL activity ready and set up for the teachers to use and share with their students. They enjoyed making them and receiving pictures from the teachers once their quilts were made!

We are incredibly proud of our 32 high school students who represented Oswego East High School at the 2026 Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Nashville from May 6–10!

Our students competed against some of the best business students from across the country and showcased outstanding professionalism, leadership, and dedication throughout the week.
We are excited to celebrate:

These accomplishments reflect countless hours of preparation, teamwork, and commitment. Beyond competition, students had the opportunity to network, build leadership skills, and create unforgettable memories together in Nashville.

Congratulations to all of our BPA national qualifiers for representing our school with excellence. We are so proud of your hard work and success! A huge shout out to our BPA advisors Graham Brown and Stacy Sajder Adams as well as our parent chaperone, Montrew Newman for all the time and dedication they give to the organization! 🎉👏

The commencement ceremonies for Oswego High School and Oswego East High School will take place Saturday, May 16 at Northern Illinois University. The OHS ceremony is set to begin at 9:30 am with the OEHS ceremony to follow at 2 pm.

This week Oswego East held its first annual signing event for future teachers! Hosted by the Educators Rising Club and co-adviors, Mrs. Van Wie and Mrs. Scharbert, this event was created to recognize students who have committed to pursuing teaching as a career path. We are so proud of their dedication and hard work that has brought them this far. We know they are off to positively impact future generations of students. We look forward to learning about all of their accomplishments. Congratulations future educators!

On Friday, May 1, we celebrated students from Plank Junior High School, Oswego High School, and Oswego East High School who completed their journey in the SD 308 Dual Language program. Surrounded by supportive staff and family members, students were recognized for this outstanding accomplishment.
