Everyone who commented on the previous post got it right! The Shoulder harness was too high for the child in the rear facing seat.

It's that time of the year again!

As schools are starting the new educational year, it is important to remember that there will be heavy traffic, especially during drop off and pick up times. The safest way everyone can go about this is to plan and coordinate an earlier time to commute so you'll have more time making it to your destination, survey your surroundings to make sure you are looking out for any pedestrians on the road, and safely adjust to speed limit signs.

Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) is recalling certain Revolve180 Litemax NXT child seats manufactured through March 31, 2025. Please refer to Evenflo's recall report for the specific models and production dates. Due to a miscalibrated level indicator, following the installation instructions can result in a child sitting more upright than intended. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems." A child seat that is not reclined as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash. The remedy for this recall is currently under development. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed beginning September 1, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Evenflo customer service at 1-800-233-5921.
