SAVAC of SUNY Oswego SAVAC provides FREE NYS basic life support care to SUNY Oswego and the surrounding area since 1972 Welcome to our official page!

As of Spring 2013, SAVAC is in service 24 hours a day whenever classes are in session, always ready with at least one NYS certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and CEVO certified ambulance driver. SAVAC of Oswego has been providing free emergency medical care to the SUNY Oswego campus since 1971. SAVAC has always been and will always be “by the students, for the students”.

We had such an amazing time getting the chance to learn from so many wonderful speakers and connect with so many amazing collegiate EMS organizations 🚑🚨

We had an amazing time yesterday during our lakeside extrication drill with Oswego town fire department🚒🚨

They were able to walk us through all the different steps and ways we could safely get a patient from the lakeshore back to land and to the hospital. This drill and the new knowledge learned is something us here at SAVAC will always greatly appreciate!! 🚑💚💛
