Oswego County Prevention Coalition A coalition of concerned Oswego County residents/stakeholders dedicated to combating adolescent substance abuse, and protecting our youth from said harm.

The mission of the Oswego County Prevention Coalition and YC3 (Youth Creating Change Coalition), is to increase developmental protective factors and decrease risk factors as we address adolescence substance abuse in Oswego County.

Last night, we had the opportunity to meet with the Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Department to share some of our lockbags with the crew! A big thanks to the department for offering to share our bags with the community and for helping keep Oswego County safe! All it can take is just a lock to prevent kids, pets, or anyone from accidentally consuming cannabis products!

Remember to keep cannabis products safe and secure if you have them in your home. Here are a few tips to ensure that you keep children safe from accidental ingestion or exposure to cannabis:

1- Store cannabis products out of reach of children keeping it locked up and secure
2- Avoid using cannabis products in front of children
3- Keep purses and bags away from children. They may contain cannabis products
