🚰 EDGEVALE ROAD WATER SERVICE UPDATE 🚰

Edgevale Road residents, a quick update on the ongoing water main project

Salenbien Trucking & Excavating will be connecting individual water services to the new water main. Homeowners will be notified by Salenbien when work is being performed at their property.

💧 During the connection, you may experience an intermittent loss of water service for approximately 30 minutes.

🛁 After your service is connected: Please run water from a bathtub or sink for approximately 5 minutes to help clear any debris that may have entered the line.

💨 You may also notice some air in your water lines during or shortly after the work. This is normal and should clear as the system returns to normal.

🚧 Road Closure Notice 🚧

Beginning Wednesday, July 29, 2026, the only access to Ridgewood Road will be from Secor Road due to ongoing road construction.

Residents and visitors should plan to enter and exit Ridgewood Road via Secor Road until further notice. Please allow extra travel time and use caution when traveling through the construction area.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is completed.

🚧 Road Closure Notice 🚧

Brookside Road, between Talmadge Road and the 3800 block of Sulphur Spring Road, will be closed to through traffic while a large dead elm tree is removed.

Please plan to use an alternate route and expect minor delays.

Thank you for your patience as we complete this necessary tree removal to help keep our roads safe.

EPA’s health guidance for the CURRENT air quality conditions: HAZARDOUS on 7/16/2026 –
Everyone: Avoid all physical activity outdoors.
Sensitive groups: Remain indoors and keep activity levels low
Note: If you don't have an air conditioner, staying inside with the windows closed may be dangerous in extremely hot weather. If you are hot, go someplace with air conditioning or check with your local government to find out if cooling centers are available in your community.

If you cannot avoid going outside, mask up. Do not rely on cloth face coverings or surgical masks, which cannot filter out smoke particles. An N95 mask approved by NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) will provide better protection.
