Drivers should use caution when traveling through these areas and follow all posted signs and directions from crews. Traffic may be reduced to one lane while work is underway.

🚸 NEW PEDESTRIAN SAFETY FEATURE AT 15TH & ASH

As the new school year approaches, traffic will increase throughout Ottawa — including more students, families, pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles sharing our streets.

To help improve safety at the 15th Street and Ash Street crosswalk, the City of Ottawa has installed a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB).

Today City of Ottawa Kansas Municipal Government City Commissioners joined the Ottawa Kansas Area Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting ceremony in welcoming Hidden Lakes Homes to our community.

Kansas Gas Service will be relocating a gas meter at 401 S Main St starting Monday 8/03. This will require excavation of the sidewalk on S Main St (approx. 28 linear ft.) and will restrict if not completely prohibit public access on that portion of the sidewalk.
