Thank you and for the generous donation of emergency drinking water, and to
O'Malley Beverage Company for delivering it to our fire station! This water will help keep our firefighters hydrated
during wildfires and extended responses in extreme heat.
The donation is provided through Anheuser-Busch’s Emergency Drinking Water for Wildland Firefighters
program, which supports volunteer departments with critical hydration resources during wildfire season.

On Saturday April 6th the Franklin County Emergency Management got a call asking if we could deploy our wildland task force to assist with a wild fire near Blue Rapids in Marshall County. L.O.H. Fire District, Wellsville Fire District, Ohio Township Fire District, Northwest Fire District, and Franklin County Emergency Management left Franklin County around 7:30p.m. and made it safely home Sunday around 5:30p.m. During those hours our trucks and personnel worked non-stop from arrival to being released. We assisted in overnight fire watch, fire attack, water supply, and structure protection.
