Putnam County Board of Developmental Disabilities

Putnam County Board of Developmental Disabilities As with most county boards, parents were an integral part of the services for their children.

Since the mid-1950's, the Putnam County Board of Developmental Disabilities as more commonly known as Brookhill Center has provided services to both children and adults who have developmental disabilities. The Putnam County community has supported our efforts, and in turn, we are proud to represent and serve the consumers and families in a comprehensive effort. Sensory Friendly Morning at the Ohio State Fair will be Thursday, July 30, from 9 AM - 2 PM.

During this special event, the Fair will create a more welcoming environment by dimming lights and lowering volume levels throughout select attractions and areas. Guests can enjoy rides without flashing lights or music, explore educational and sensory-friendly activities, and relax in designated quiet spaces when needed.

Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or caregivers, Sensory Friendly Morning offers a calmer and more comfortable Fair experience for all.
