Added a bunch of (grown-up) books to the library today. Stop by and take a look!

Young adult and littles books are on the low end currently so if you’re clearing out some books at home from your own kiddos collection to make room for new please consider dropping a few off in the library for others to enjoy. Thanks and Happy New Year!

We have a request — our daughter has a fairy garden set up next to the library. Someone took her fairy church from the arrangement and she is devestated.

Please bring back the fairy church and put it on our front porch. No questions asked. Don’t put it back. Put it on the porch. She will replace it to her liking.

Again, no questions asked.

Eloise straightened and organized the library the other day so stop on by and grab yourself a book, puzzle, or movie (there were a few in there). Happy Fall!

Hi all! We’ve got more produce then we can use so we’ve left some out by the library (haven’t been out to see what’s still there currently) but please help yourself to whatever you’d like.

(We don’t use any sprays or pesticides in the garden but the produce should have a rinse before consuming.)

I found this sweet boy outside our house this afternoon. Let’s get him back to his owner! Please share!

(Collar but no tag so I couldn’t contact owner directly. Hoping he has a chip.)

Dog was found in the 400 blk of 2nd Ave. The dog was taken to Fox Valley Vet. For further information contact the vet 815-434-0363

All this rain is great for two reasons:

1) we don’t have to water the garden all the time

2) rainy days are great for reading

So make the most of the rainy days and swing by the library to grab a book or two (or a magazine)!

Looks like we had a recent book donation (thank you!). It’s a bit of a mess out there at the moment (hoping to remedy that tonight or tomorrow) but it’s a lovely day so take a stroll over and help yourself to a book or two!
