Today's the day!

The traffic signal pole for 1st & Main was delivered! 🎉
⚠Repair work will begin on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, weather permitting. During this time the traffic signals will be temporarily out of service (not flashing). The intersection will operate as a four-way stop during the repair. 🛑The stop signs will remain in the center of the intersection and an Ottawa Police Department officer🚓 will be present at the start of the work to ensure the intersection operates safely. The Police Department will also deploy a notification board in advance of the repair to alert motorists of the temporary outage.

The Ottawa City Commission is pleased to announce their unanimous selection of Thatcher Moddie to be the next City Manager. Today’s announcement caps a months-long executive recruitment effort that initially produced a field of forty candidates from across the nation.
