Recently the Park’s staff of the City cut down the cattails all around the canal. This will help us control the growth in the spring. It really makes the canal look much better.

There has been quite a bit of ice skating this winter.

New flag was raised on July 4th. 29 star flag represents the American flag that was flown the year the canal was first opened

Here is a modern aqua duct in the Netherlands. I&M Canal did this in 1848.
