Ready to try something new and creative? Join us for this fun, hands-on two-session beginner knitting class and learn the skills you need to get started with confidence!
📅 Dates: Tuesday, July 7 & Thursday, July 9
⏰ Time: 6–8 PM
📍 Location: IHCC Centerville Campus

In this welcoming, small-group class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of knitting, including:
✨ How to read a pattern
✨ Casting on
✨ Knit & purl stitches
✨ Increasing & decreasing
✨ Binding off
By the end, you’ll complete your very own simple dishcloth project—a perfect first creation!
🎒 Bonus: All materials are included! Each student receives a take-home starter kit with:
• Knitting needles
• Yarn
• Notions (tape measure, yarn needle, scissors & storage pouch)

Janell brings a lifetime of creativity to her teaching, with a background in art and jewelry design across the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. A passionate self-taught knitter, she loves helping beginners build skills, confidence, and joy through making something by hand.
