🇺🇸 A special moment tonight at the Oskaloosa football game!

OHS alum Specialist Allyson Maxwell returned to raise the colors before kickoff. Allyson currently serves in the Iowa Army National Guard with the 833rd Engineer Company in Ottumwa and has been proudly serving since 2021.

Thank you, Allyson, for your service and for representing our school and community with pride.

PFC Vance was promoted to SPC!
SPC Pheng and SPC Crabill decided they wanted to expand their military knowledge and decided to transfer to another unit, in turn re-classing to a different MOS!
SSG Cassell was promoted to SFC!
SPC Argo was given a BN commander’s coin, for his exceptional service when he stopped immediately after a car accident happened and helped pull the individual out of the wreckage!
SSG Evans, PFC Arthur, SSG Mccauley, and SPC Porter were all give BN Commander’s coins during Individual Weapons Qualification for their selfless service to not just the Soldiers of the 833, but to the Soldiers of the entire 185 BN!
PV2 Ogier was promoted to PFC!

During October drill we were able to promote SPC Kashirin to SGT! SGT Kashirin is a 91B, wheeled vehicle mechanic, and is a great asset to our maintenance team. We can’t wait to see the great things you will accomplish is this new role!
