⚠️ TODAY: Due to incoming weather, Summer Meal Distribution at all five sites will now take place from 1:30–2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11. See you soon at Ottumwa High School, Evans Junior High, Eisenhower Elementary, Taft Apartments, or JBS UFCW Union Hall.

The Ottumwa Schools Summer Meal Distribution begins this week on Thursday, June 11, and will take place every Thursday, through August 13, 2026, from 2:00-3:00 pm. This program is designed to ensure that all children ages 18 and younger can receive nutritious meals throughout the summer at no cost. 🐾🎉

You can drive up or walk up to any of the following sites to receive meals:
— Ottumwa High School: 501 E 2nd (enter from 4th St to College St)
— Evans Junior High: 812 Chester (enter Chester St parking lot)
— Eisenhower Elementary: 2624 Marilyn Road (enter parking lot)
— Taft Apartments: 100 Taft Circle (enter parking lot)
— JBS UFCW Union Hall: 1305 E Mary Street

Strikeout King 👑⚾

Last week, OHS senior baseball standout and Ole Miss commit Tucker Long reached an incredible milestone, recording his 250th career strikeout. Tucker has left a lasting legacy on OHS Baseball and cemented his place among the program's all-time greats.

Congratulations, Tucker, on an outstanding achievement and all you've accomplished in a Bulldog uniform. We look forward to watching your continued success at the next level!

State Trapshooting Qualifiers!

Congratulations to Jesus Sanchez, senior, and Cayse Hopkins, junior, on qualifying for both the State and National Trapshooting Championships!

Jesus and Cayse will travel to Cedar Falls on June 13 to compete against thousands of the top trapshooters from across Iowa at the State Championship. They will then represent Ottumwa at the SCTP National Championship in Ohio this July.

Please join us in congratulating Jesus and Cayse on their outstanding accomplishments this season and wishing them the best of luck as they compete on the state and national stage. We are proud of your hard work, dedication, and success! 🎯👏🏆
