The mission of the Wapello County Family Treatment Court is, through a collaborative effort, to ensure children have a safe and nurturing environment by focusing on healthy and sober parenting and permanency planning through family reunification.

We lost a good friend today - Judy Murphy - a long time advocate for those with substance abuse and mental health disorders - and an integral part of our planning team for our treatment court passed away today. Judy will be missed and all of us wish her family the best at this very difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
