Dad and I put flags out yesterday at Lemmon’s. Unbelievably proud to be the 3rd generation in my family to have this honor. Our family has been doing this a long time and will make every effort possible to continue this tradition for years to come. - Ashley Weisheit

Welcome to Lemmon’s Church and Cemetery. Established in 1860 and placed on the National Register of Historical Places on June 4, 1992. While the church is no longer in use for regular services, the cemetery continues to be a place of eternal rest for over a century. Walking around the stones, you will discover many families from the area and numerous military markers dating back the the Civil War.

A long-standing board has been meeting annually to continue the upkeep and preservation of the property. Donations are always welcome.

The church is available for weddings. Burial plots are available as well. See contact info to inquire further.
