Dear Community of Sunnyside,

We will be holding a car wash fundraiser to honor our beloved family member, Leo Vergara. As a parent, there is no greater pain than losing a child. Leo left behind two young kids who he adored immensely, and who have recently faced the heartbreaking loss of their mother to cancer.

Leo was a loving, kind, and generous soul. He had a remarkable ability to see the positive side of things, bringing joy and laughter wherever he went. His kindness and willingness to help others made a significant impact on everyone he met.

We kindly ask everyone in the community to come by Paletería La Norteña on Saturday, July 27th, starting at 10 am, get your car washed, and contribute any donations you can. All funds raised will go to Leo's father to help cover funeral expenses. Please open your hearts to the Vergara family as they mourn the loss of a son, a father, a brother, and a friend. Leo's big heart and enduring spirit will be deeply missed.
