4th of July sneak peek!

HOFD will be auctioning off this fire hose American flag during the 4th of July festivities in Heber-Overgaard. It was custom made by our very own HOFD firefighters, and is an amazing piece of patriotic art! Details will be announced soon 🇺🇸

Training and proper equipment are vital to the operation and response of HOFD crews. We recently acquired new Rescue 42 Struts, and A-Shift and B-Shift have been spending lots of time making sure they are ready for any scenario. Good work, firefighters!

The Heber-Overgaard Fire District is honored to be celebrating our nation’s 250th birthday, and participating in the Arizona Firefighters Foundation “Celebrating 250” project.

Heber-Overgaard Fire District is proud to be represented alongside agencies from across the state in recognizing the long-standing tradition of service, sacrifice, and commitment to our communities. Proceeds from the project help support the mission of the Arizona Firefighters Foundation and the firefighters and families they serve throughout Arizona.

We are under a Red Flag Warning today from 11 am - 8 pm, and high winds will continue throughout the remainder of the week. This means NO BURNING is permitted. Please remember to always call the Burn Line at 928-535-6709 and listen to the recorded message anytime you are planning to burn. Thank you and stay safe!

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for Wednesday across portions of northern Arizona. The potential for rapid fire spread will be high. Avoid any sort of outdoor flames or sparks tomorrow.
