There’s something extra special about watching my own children play in the space I once dreamed about before it even existed.

Inspired Play Cafe was created around one simple belief: play is a child’s work.

No screens. No pressure to perform. Just space to explore, imagine, problem solve, create and learn at their own pace.

And now I get to sit on the floor and watch my own babies experience the same kind of intentional play I hoped to give other families five years ago.

Sometimes the simplest moments are the ones that remind me exactly why I built this place. 🌿

Food exploration, but make it PLAY. 🍎🥨

Our kiddos got to explore, build, create (and of course taste-test!) during our food exploration class using apples, pretzels + marshmallows.

Activities like this make trying and interacting with foods feel fun and low-pressure, while giving little hands plenty of opportunities to create and explore.

Just a vision, a whole lot of construction, and faith that someday it would become what I could already see in my head— a vision only I saw, but had to convince a room full of men to believe to get the money to make it happen.

This is where we came from.

We’re growing our team at Inspired Play Cafe for this season! 🌿

Our mission has always been bigger than simply giving kids a place to play. We’ve intentionally created a space where children can explore, create, and learn through child-led play—while parents have a welcoming place to slow down, connect, and find community.

As we head into our busy season, we’re looking for a few people who genuinely enjoy children, families, and being part of a positive team environment.

We’re especially looking for people who are:
✨ Warm, dependable & self-motivated
🌿 Comfortable interacting with children and parents
🧹 Willing to jump in wherever needed to keep our space beautiful and welcoming
🤎 Looking for a flexible, community-centered job
