Some of us from 3rd District LPKS attended a meeting hosted by Boots on Ground Midwest on Flock and ALPR cameras. It was very informative and we met a lot of good people there, it was encouraging to see the parking lot fill up so quickly.

I plan on sharing more resources and opportunities for fighting ALPRs locally on this page in the coming days. And we welcome anyone more interested in fighting for privacy rights or learning more about the Libertarian Party of Kansas (LPKS) to come to our monthly meeting tomorrow at the Johnson County Central Resource Library at 6pm!

The Libertarian Party of Kansas will have a booth at the Kansas State Fair, September 11–20, 2026, and we need volunteers to help staff it.

This is one of our best opportunities each year to meet voters from across Kansas, answer questions, share information, recruit new Libertarians, and show that we are building something stronger statewide.

The booth will be staffed from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on the full fair days, with two main shifts:

9:00 AM–3:00 PM
3:00 PM–9:00 PM

On September 11 and September 20, hours will be shorter for setup and tear-down.

You do not have to commit to a full six-hour shift. Even a couple of hours helps and gives the person working with you a real break, so shorter volunteer times are welcome.

LPKS will provide your ticket into the fairgrounds.
Our booth is inside the Meadowlark Building, so you will be indoors, air conditioned, and out of the Kansas heat.

It has come to our attention that we must remind all registered Libertarians in the state that you CAN vote in this primary. You will just have the constitutional amendment question on your ballot.

🚫 DO NOT let an uninformed poll worker pressure you into changing your affiliation. We’re already getting reports of this happening during early voting.

If you feel like a poll worker is pressuring you in some way or simply wrong, please report the incident to your county elections officer.

We will not tolerate third party discrimination. ‼️
