E3 Academy is a nonprofit dedicated to helping students tap into their natural instincts, so that they can thrive in school and life. Our mission is two-fold: to provide Kolbe assessments to the community and to help at-risk students develop confidence and resiliency for the future. Thanks for supporting us in this work!

Even preschoolers have an instinctive way of doing things! If they get frustrated while trying to accomplish a goal, try to ask them questions without immediately presenting a solution: How did you build the tower last week? Are you willing to ask your friend to share, or create a new game?

Are you a homeschooling parent? Are your children thriving or struggling? No matter the answer, E3 Academy has resources for you! You can help your student find joy in learning when they discover their instinctive way of doing things. They'll be more productive, and you'll reduce conflict. Learn more about this win-win at e3-academy.org/assessments.

- At just 12 years old, Claire Tietgen was the victim of extreme bullying at school. She wrote in her diary and on the walls of her closet that she wanted to die. But, with the help of her parents, she was able to find hope. She enrolled in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and found strength, self-esteem, and a supportive community. Then, she took a Kolbe assessment and discovered that her struggles in the classroom actually had a solution. She took control of her life and today is a confident, thriving young adult. In fact, she founded E3 with her father to help kids who are struggling like she was. And we're thankful every day for her story of hope and recovery!

In E3 Academy's The Wisdom Code, Ramon Corrales suggests simply acknowledging those feelings when they arise. Then, once students are validated, ask them to commit to a goal anyway. When you address a student's Will, you can negotiate with them. And once you get a "yes," you can create a productive classroom environment.
