⚠ Street Work and Temporary No-Parking Zones on Lackland Road Update ⚠

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, weather permitting, contractors will begin installation of surfacing on Lackland Road.

The street work will occur overnight between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. each day until the work is completed. The contractor estimates that the work will be complete by Saturday, Sept. 12, weather permitting.

During this period…

⚠ There will be Temporary No-Parking Zones along Lackland Road in defined areas, each day, to allow for the completion of the construction work.

⚠ Temporary No-Parking Signs will be posted within the defined area during the day, providing motorists the opportunity to make alternative parking arrangements.

⚠ Work in each of the defined areas should be completed by the end of each day.

The City is committed to minimizing any inconvenience and ensuring that work is carried out in an efficient and safe manner. Questions regarding the project should be directed to Overland City Hall, at (314) 428-4321.

In preparation for upcoming street work, the City is instituting Temporary No-Parking Zones on Lackland Road, between Walton Road and Sims Avenue, as noted below.

Thursday, Sept. 3 – No Parking North Side of Lackland Road.
Friday, Sept. 4 – No Parking South Side of Lackland Road.

Beginning the week of Sept. 7, weather permitting, there will be Temporary No-Parking Zones along Lackland Road in defined areas, each day, to allow for the completion of the construction work.

Officer Pearson and Officer Cisco met an awesome group of kids recently at Happy Day Preschool - Overland Church of Christ. Many of them expressed their interest in becomming police officers. Before officers left, they collectively exclaimed, “Thank you Overland Police Officers, you are our heroes!!”
