What is Ovid Days?

Ovid is a town located in the middle of Sedgwick County Colorado.

For the past 3 decades, the OVFD has had a small festival for the community to enjoy. It is an inexpensive way for all of Sedgwick County to come out and have a little family fun.

It is important to OVFD because of their location they are a huge part of the entire County. They support and help families and businesses in Sedgwick, Ovid, Julesburg, and even up into Chappell. OVFD is everywhere all of the time. Shopping in the market, eating Sunday chicken at Lucy's, running the beer garden at the race track, coaching High school sports, eating breakfast at D&J, golfing at all of the charity tournaments, a burger at Luna's, members of EVERY county board, purchasing 4H animals at the fair, and you might even see them drinking a soda at one of the County bars.

This year they want you to come out and enjoy yourself on their turf. They have put together a family event that has a little something for everyone!

All ages Home Run Derby - $1000 payout

Color Run charity 5k - Children's Hospital

2 day Softball Tournament - Average Joe's

Kid's Games for the littles - community that cares

Over 30 vendors in the vendor market

Bicycle Raffle (4 brand new bikes) - AP Diesel

Parade for all to enjoy

All age Co****le Tournament - $500 payout

Live Music

Beer Garden

Multiple food Vendors

All age Goat roping - cash prizes

Free will Pancake Breakfast - SC football

And so much more...

So please come out and meet this great bunch of guys, say hello and show your support.

Community events only work with community involvement!

If nothing else come buy a hotdog from the concession stand at the ballpark -SCOR
