The annual Fire Department Open House will be held October 4 from 12–2 p.m. at the Fire Station, 107 Main Street West. Bring the whole family to explore fire trucks and equipment on display, take a tour of the station, and chat with firefighters who will be on hand to answer questions. Kids (and adults!) can enjoy fun activities, win prizes and enjoy some fresh popcorn.

Good afternoon parents,

Due to the closure of Lake Kohlmier, Safety Camp has been moved to the Steele County Fairgrounds.
This does change classes a little bit. As of now there will be no fishing, boating/swimming safety. We are working on how this can be revamped and still included in some way and will send updates as we have them and post them on Facebook.
Emails went out to the emails on file. Let’s spread the word! If you have any questions, please reach out. We continue to look forward to camp and will keep moving forward with any bumps in the road we come across.

We know everyone is wondering about camp with the predictions on weather. As of now, camp is on as normal. We will be continuing to monitor tomorrow’s weather and will send any information out via email and on our Facebook.

We are aware of the warning sirens sounding in the northern part of the city. It is a system error and we are currently researching the issue. There is no severe weather at this time.
