Another one of our 2025 community highlights was helping to fund Let's Smile, Inc.'s center middle console at their dental practice. This area has a hands-free sink, X-ray unit, and dual-operatory design.

Let's Smile, Inc. mission is to provide, promote, and educate on the power of preventive dental care, while also offering follow-up treatment to ensure every child and teen in southeastern Minnesota has access to comprehensive dental health care to thrive.

The Owatonna Foundation was instrumental in helping the Owatonna Soccer Association build the Owatonna Soccer Complex, which consists of nine fields to accommodate all age groups.

The Owatonna Soccer Complex is a wonderful asset to our community and is used by thousands of young people in Owatonna Parks and Recreation programs, Owatonna Soccer Association traveling programs, high school athletic programs and local adult teams.

A gift that continues to shape Owatonna for generations. ❤️

In 1958, Mrs. George C. Kohlmier donated 60 acres of land and a small lake to the Owatonna Foundation in memory of her husband, George C. Kohlmier. Their vision was to create a space that would benefit the community for years to come through recreation, nature, and public enjoyment.

Today, Lake Kohlmier stands as a lasting reminder of generosity, community spirit, and the power of giving back. Thank you to the Kohlmier family for creating a legacy that continues to make Owatonna a special place to live and visit. 🌳💙

The Owatonna Foundation focuses on capital-related projects in our community that enhance our community, arts, recreation, and education.

The continued generosity of our community makes supporting these projects possible.

Another 2025 highlight was the Owatonna Arts Center. The Foundation grant they received provided security lighting on the west side and AV upgrades.
