It has been a busy past few weeks for the Chamber, and we'd like to catch up on some stuff we missed! Firstly, we'd like to showcase TWO of our 2026 Community Awards Night Winners: Community Bank and Kali's Klubhouse!
Community Bank: Community Bank N.A. is a banking organization located around the Northeastern region of the United States. Their Owego location provides top-notch service to all customers, both old and new. Community Bank has gone out of their way to sponsor countless Chamber events, including our 2026 Legislative Breakfast that we held in July. This year marks their 160th anniversary of business, showcasing their ability to perform well and the love they’ve received from their customers. They are known by citizens of Owego as a highly trustworthy bank committed to providing quality service, by local businesses as a safety net and foundation for growth, and by the Chamber as an appreciated partner. Congratulations to Community Bank N.A. for this incredible award!
Kali's Klubhouse: Located in Apalachin, Kali’s Klubhouse is a local nonprofit focused on providing therapeutic and educational services to those with physical, social, or emotional needs, but not with humans. Instead, Kali’s Klubhouse helps these individuals with service horses, dedicated to helping people of all ages to overcome the many challenges of life. These horses are retired and repurposed, giving them a more fulfilling role in their life and providing a beneficial service for humans. They received $5,000 from Binghamton University towards their programs, and they continue to provide extensive service to their customers. Kali’s Klubhouse and their horses are not your average therapy session, but they make up for it through their deep community involvement and support. Congratulations to Kali’s Klubhouse for this exciting achievement!
