If you haven’t noticed, traffic on the South Side has gotten a little complicated this afternoon. Please avoid Sulphur Springs between Stanton Hill and the village line and Waits north of Middle until further notice.

Heard the phrase an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure? In this case, it is a 2.5 pound dry chem fire extinguisher prevented a house fire.
One of our homeowners illustrated the importance of cleaning your chimney often AND having a working fire extinguisher.
Homeowner says he is buying a bigger extinguisher. Maybe two, just in case.

A huge Thank You to everyone who came out and supported the Southside Fire Department at our pancake breakfast Saturday morning! It was great seeing all our friends, family and neighbors. We hope you all enjoyed it and continue to support us as we serve our community!
